<Responsibilities>

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, and process payments efficiently
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage guest flow effectively
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment in both fine dining settings and lively nightlife venues

<Qualifications>

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus; culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for understanding menu items

Pay: $21.20 - $25.53 per hour
