Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, upsell specials, and recommend wine or cocktail pairings to enhance guest satisfaction
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and foster positive guest relations to promote repeat business
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and provide correct change
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain cleanliness and flow

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
• Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in serving roles including host/hostess duties or bartending is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
