POSITION SUMMARY:

Creates a world-class dining experience for all guests who enter our buildings by being experts in hospitality and technical service. Maintains effective communication with all staff, including management, to ensure a consistently great guest experience.

Extensive knowledge of all products we have to offer including wine, cocktails, cheese, meats, and dining options.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides exceptional hospitality to all guests through precise timing, flawless execution, and attentive service.
• Provides a detailed concept dialogue to all first-time diners.
• Provides a detailed menu tour of both the wine and food menu when necessary.
• Thorough knowledge of food menus including key ingredients, sauces, allergens, etc.
• Maintains table cleanliness.
• Communicates with bussers for extra support to ensure efficient service.
• Quality checks tables multiple times throughout dining experience.
• Seats guests when necessary.
• Delivers product accurately.
• Assists teammates in delivering products, taking orders, bussing tables, running food when necessary.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of wine service. Will perform with less valuable wine and when sommeliers are busy.
• Handles guest complaints and elevates to management when necessary.
• Knows service nuances between private event guests vs. everyday restaurant guests.
• Communicates with kitchen staff on special requests from guests, if an item was made incorrectly, etc.
• Attends pre-shift to be prepared and setup for shift.
• Thanks, and invites back all guests in their section.
• Assists any guest who stops you and has an immediate request.
• Takes payment including card and cash.
• You may be called upon from time to time to perform other duties that may not be included in your job description at the management’s discretion.
