From opening the restaurant, to closing it, there are many steps and responsibilities that are expected of our server team. A semi-sequential breakdown of those daily duties are:

- Arrive promptly, clock-in, and begin opening duties (setting up drink station, stocking side stations, checking section, ensuring all tables and chairs are clean and properly set, etc.)

- Attend pre-shift meeting, taking note of any features, new items, specific counts for items, and what is 86-ed

- Begin service. In addition to the high quality service you are offering ever guest, be cognizant of your teammates. Offer any assistance, and care for their tables as you would your own

- Keep all stations clean and stocked throughout service, completing all running side work

- Communicate with management and BOH any information you believe should be known

- As the dinner rush begins to wind down, treat your final table as positive and thoroughly as you did with your first. The service you offer should not fade or decline just because the shift is nearly finished

- Properly complete all closing side work, once complete ask closing server or manager to check you out.

- Closing paper work should be completed clearly and accurately, then turn into closing manager

- Clock out, be sure to take home any personal cups or items that you brought with every shift

While the Server’s primary focus is to take care of our Guests while delivering a dining experience with the highest level of service and hospitality. Some secondary duties include but are not limited to:

- Assisting hosts when seating tables

- Running drinks from the bar

- Watering tables

- Running food and assisting Food Runners when needed

- Clearing tables

- Assisting Server Assistant team with the resetting of tables and large parties
