Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and answer questions about food and drink options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or wine pairings.
• Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food preparation techniques to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering and cash handling tasks.
• Experience with culinary techniques or kitchen operations is a plus but not required.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
