Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting. Prior experience with POS systems and food handling is preferred, along with a strong commitment to hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures consistently

Skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Previous experience in fine dining, casual restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance

Pay: $17.75 - $50.00 per hour
