Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Support the kitchen team in food handling and storage to ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and delivering meals promptly
• Help with menu planning and ingredient inventory management to ensure freshness and availability of supplies
• Follow all food safety protocols and proper knife skills during meal preparation
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with kitchen staff and servers

Skills

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus but not required
• Strong food handling, cooking, and food safety knowledge to ensure high-quality service
• Experience in food service, restaurant settings, or the food industry demonstrates reliability and professionalism
• Proficiency in meal preparation, catering, and serving enhances your ability to support various dining needs
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques are highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
