Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu and specials
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction with attentive customer service
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and billing
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
