The Velvet Cellar is located in LoDo boasting an expansive wine list with unique craft cocktails, and a Southern Gulf Coast influenced scratch kitchen. We’re a vibrant, fast-paced establishment built around warm hospitality, an energetic atmosphere, and a premium beverage program with a strong focus on wine. Our menu is seasonal, local, and approachable, with a commitment to quality and consistency.

Hours of Operation

• Tuesday - Thursday 4pm - 9pm
• Friday - Saturday 4pm - 10pm

Pay

• All front of house employees that receive tips are paid the Denver tipped minimum wage of $16.27, if their tips do not meet minimum wage requirements, they will be paid $19.29 per hour

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, confidence, and personality
• Present menus and communicate food and beverage offerings clearly and accurately
• Take precise orders and deliver food and drinks quickly and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a hospitality-first mindset
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, wine, and cocktails
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle POS operations, cash handling, and payment processing accurately
• Assist with table setup and maintain a clean, organized dining room throughout service
• Recommend pairings, highlight features, and upsell naturally
• Maintain energy, professionalism, and composure in a fast-paced environment

EPEWA DISCLOSURE:

• Sick leave is available to all employees as required by Colorado. Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for use for a variety of health and safety purposes, which employees accrue at a rate of 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked
