Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting settings, and assisting with sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Assist guests with food allergies or special requests to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to foster positive relationships

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality roles preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for accurate cash handling and billing
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, serving, or host/hostess duties is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy levels
