Server Administrator (Game Servers / DevOps) – RP Systems & Mods

RP Systems & Mods is looking for a Server Administrator (Game Servers / DevOps) to help us maintain, optimize, and scale our online multiplayer infrastructure. If you enjoy working with high-traffic game servers, cloud environments, and real-time systems used by active player communities, this role is for you.

We are a fast-growing digital studio focused on roleplay gaming systems, server mods, and interactive multiplayer environments. You will play a key role in ensuring our servers run smoothly, securely, and with minimal downtime for thousands of players worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain game servers (Linux-based environments)
• Monitor server performance, uptime, and latency
• Deploy updates, patches, and mod integrations
• Troubleshoot crashes, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Automate server processes using scripts and tools
• Work with developers to optimize server-side performance
• Ensure security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
• Scale infrastructure based on player demand and traffic spikes

Requirements

• Experience as a Server Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Linux server environments
• Experience with game servers (FiveM, Minecraft, ARK, or similar preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, or similar)
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Node.js)
• Understanding of networking (DNS, ports, firewalls)
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure in real-time environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
