Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar stations, tables, and serving utensils in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and managing guest relations to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools

Requirements

• Proven experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess or food service is advantageous
