Job Title: Server Assistant (Fine Dining)

Reports To: General Manager

Compensation: $14.00/hour + tips

Position Summary:

At One by Spork, we offer an intimate, elevated dining experience centered around our chef’s tasting counter. Each evening, we welcome just 16-18 guests for a single seating (Thursday-Sunday, with occasional private events Mon-Wed), featuring a meticulously curated 10-course tasting menu paired with exceptional beverages. Our approach celebrates seasonality, technique, and storytelling, creating a singular culinary journey designed to engage and delight.

As a Server Assistant at One by Spork, you play a key supporting role in delivering a seamless and elevated guest experience. You work closely with the service team to maintain cleanliness, efficiency, and attentiveness throughout service. The ideal candidate is polished, observant, professional, and passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support team in all aspects of service to ensure a smooth and elevated dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including restrooms and lounge area
• Reset tasting counter efficiently and elegantly between courses
• Refill water, clear used flatware, glassware, and plates as needed without interrupting service flow
• Assist in delivering food and beverage items to guests in coordination with the kitchen and server
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation, and allergen awareness
• Handle and polish glassware with precision and care
• Uphold standards of etiquette, timing, and discretion appropriate to a fine dining setting
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and coordinated service
• Restock and fold linens and warm towels, polish glassware, and reset for upcoming service
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, sanitary work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a high-end or fine dining restaurant preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and polished appearance
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Flexible schedule, must have availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
