Server/ barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Barista to join our dynamic café team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties

• Take customer orders accurately using POS system.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation.
• Handle food preparation tasks including food safety procedures, food handling, and basic food prep.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health standards.
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience through attentive service and product knowledge.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience with Toast POS system.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
