Server / Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server / Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions with precision and accountability
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specials, ingredients, and food safety standards to assist guests effectively
  • Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Assist with setting up banquet events or catering services as needed, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a smooth dining experience in various settings such as fine dining establishments or nightclubs
  • Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables while maintaining quality service
  • Promote sales by recommending menu items and upselling beverages or specials when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, including restaurant experience or fine dining background
  • Familiarity with POS systems; prior cashiering or cash handling experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or banquet settings
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations when needed
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in catering or brewing environments is advantageous but not mandatory
