Server / Bartender

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Take and accurately relay guest orders for food and beverages using Toast POS System.
  • Serve and/or Prepare drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Provide friendly, attentive service to guests in fine dining setting.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of service areas during shifts, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Engage with guests to promote specials or upsell menu items, enhancing sales opportunities while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS systems ; experience with cash handling and cashiering is preferred.
  • Familiar with steps of service and maintaining consistency throughout your shift.
  • Adhering to high standards of personal hygiene, professionalism and knowledge in culinary and mixology field.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends.
  • Basic math skills for retail math calculations like bills, tips, and change; experience with hospitality math is advantageous.
