About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Trattoria Delia as a Server/Bartender, where your passion for food and drink will shine! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to create memorable dining experiences in our charming Burlington, VT location.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, offering menu recommendations and wine pairings.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision and integrity.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and menu knowledge.
- Stay updated on menu changes, specials, and seasonal offerings to enhance guest experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings, including wine and cocktails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid bartending license or certification preferred.
- Strong multitasking skills and a positive attitude under pressure.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to serve alcohol responsibly.
- Team-oriented mindset with a dedication to providing outstanding service.
