Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery to guests
• Serve food and drinks with enthusiasm, maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality
• Expedite orders from the kitchen to ensure dishes are prepared correctly and served promptly
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and providing correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations during serving, food handling, and food safety practices
• Assist in setting up banquet events as needed, providing excellent catering or bar service in various settings
• Engage with guests proactively to upsell menu items, enhancing sales opportunities while delivering a memorable dining experience

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments; banquet experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude; ability to serve multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
• Experience with catering or beverage service including brewing or bartending is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends; previous hospitality or food industry experience is highly valued

Pay: $8.00 - $20.00 per hour
