Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Host to join our vibrant dining team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, creating a memorable experience for every guest from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for managing reservations, seating guests efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar booking systems
• Seat guests promptly while maintaining awareness of table availability and guest preferences
• Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing activities
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness of host station, dining areas, and surrounding spaces in accordance with sanitation guidelines
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and manage basic math calculations for bills and tips
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
• Support restaurant operations during service hours by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food delivery as required

Experience

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience working in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
• Experience with reservation management platforms like OpenTable is advantageous
