Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain thorough knowledge of our menu, including food ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings to answer guest questions confidently
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing activities
• Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling, cleaning, and setting up dining areas for service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable reservations is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and check splitting
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Experience in serving at nightclubs or high-volume venues is advantageous but not required
