Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately at checkout
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling safety protocols
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and optimize restaurant flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Uphold food safety standards through proper food preparation, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be over 21
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Experience with reservation management tools like OpenTable is advantageous
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
