Server / Waiter

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining Kasama’s presentation and service standards
• Offer thoughtful menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the guest experience
• Process cash and card transactions accurately and handle cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Assist with bussing tables, light food preparation, and supporting kitchen and bar staff as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards consistently
• Build positive guest relationships through product knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and seamless service during every shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry preferred but not required (fine dining, casual dining, bar, or nightclub experience a plus)
• Strong customer service skills with a guest-first mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy service periods
• Confident in upselling menu items and making recommendations
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
• Experience with bussing, hosting, food prep, or kitchen support is an advantage
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
