Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas while following proper food handling procedures.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Handle cashing out guests accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Support catering or banquet events as needed by serving food and beverages in a professional manner within a hospitality or nightclub setting.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest experiences.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and restaurant math for order accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
