Server/Bartender

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a positive dining and drinking experience
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, adhering to safety standards and recipes
• Operate Toast POS systems efficiently for order entry, billing, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while providing attentive service to all guests
• Assist in setting up and serving event functions as needed, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills and tips, and process payments securely
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely food delivery

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, especially in full-service restaurant environments
• Strong knowledge of Toast POS with cashiering and food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and resolve issues promptly
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper alcohol serving practices to promote responsible beverage service
• Experience with banquet service is a plus; familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation management systems is a plus

Pay: $4.35 - $9.00 per hour
