Server/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and/or Server to join our dynamic team. As an employee of Plank Town you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, food, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area/server station, including washing glassware, bussing tables, and helping out where needed.
• Engage with customers, taking drink orders, food orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and patrons.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Proficiency in using the POS system or similar point-of-sale technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with food handling practices within the food industry to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service experiences.

Pay: $14.70 - $17.00 per hour
