Server/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our Japanese fusion restaurant. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing and serving food and beverages. Duties

• Take orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring quick and correct processing of transactions including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures
• Provide attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
• Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, utilizing knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes to craft quality beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in compliance with health regulations
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills, ensuring timely service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, and must be 21 years or older.
• Obtain Food Handlers & RBS Certified.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in a licensed environment; knowledge of sake and Japanese whiskey is a plus!
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests seamlessly

Pay: $19.00 - $26.53 per hour
