Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all safety and quality standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and handle cash or card transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations through effective time management while providing attentive customer service
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including fine dining, nightclub settings, or banquet events
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse clientele
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising service quality
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing coffee or beer when applicable
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
