Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and prioritization.
• Handle cash transactions accurately with cash handling skills and perform cashiering duties at the end of shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures during serving and food preparation.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including fine dining options or specialty beverages like craft beers or brewed specialties.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with banquet or nightclub experience.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with retail math is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws; certifications related to responsible beverage service are advantageous.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications within the hospitality industry.
