Server/Bartender

Job Title: Server/Bartender

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager

Pete Dye Golf Club is seeking a professional and personable Bartender/Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service to our members and guests. This role requires a high level of hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming, refined experience in a private club setting. This position combines both bartending and table service responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards
  • Take and serve food orders accurately and efficiently in the bar, dining room, and event areas
  • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and club events
  • Pick-up and deliver food orders from the kitchen, making sure to communicate with the Chef regarding any special preferences or allergy information.
  • Clear tables, prep for future service, and assist with setup, service, and teardown of all Club hosted special events.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and verify identification when required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area
  • Process member charges, cash, and credit card transactions accurately
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen, golf, and clubhouse staff
  • Assist with private events, tournaments, banquets, and member functions
  • Follow all health, safety, and club policies at all times

Qualifications:

  • Previous bartending and/or serving experience in a mid-range to high-end restaurant is required; private club experience a plus
  • Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and tournament days
  • Must meet legal requirements to serve alcohol

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
