Server/Bartender

Weekends required. Day shift availability during the week is a HUGE plus. Must have at least 2 year serving experience and at least 1 year bartending experience. Should be comfortable with tip pooling. Consistent business for over 45 years. Woman owned business.

Responsibilities

  • Take and accurately process food and beverage orders using Toast POS, ensuring swift and correct transactions.
  • Serve food and drinks with a focus on presentation, quality, and timely delivery to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations to boost sales and enhance their experience.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at the end of shifts.
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food service, alcohol service, and general hospitality standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience with Toast POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering processes.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables or bar stations efficiently.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety at all times.
  • Experience working in the food industry, including restaurant experience, retail math skills for accurate transactions, and basic math proficiency for sales calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and catering events while maintaining professionalism.
