Server/Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Take orders accurately and efficiently using Spot On.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space, following food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management while ensuring prompt service during busy hours.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties, processing payments, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems; experience with cashiering is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and beverage preparation methods.
• Experience in serving at banquet events or catering environments is a plus; familiarity with retail math for accurate transactions is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced hospitality settings including restaurants, bars, or breweries.
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Arrive to work on time and presentable
• Communicate effectively with team
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales calculations; experience with alcohol serving regulations is preferred.
