Server/bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. You will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized section.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer requests.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including drinks, food pairings, and specials to enhance customer experience.
• Operate Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, address inquiries, and promote sales through recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events or catering services to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality in line with fine dining expectations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years serving or bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is mandatory.
• Familiarity with TOAST POS a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
• Experience in brewing or cocktail preparation is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment's schedule.
