Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations with precision
• Support the team by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and assisting with host/host duties when needed
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food industry background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing
• Demonstrated skills in customer service, guest relations, and sales techniques including upselling
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain sanitation certification upon hire
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, and basic math for cash handling and cashiering tasks
• Hospitality background with host/host or serving experience highly valued
