Server/Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling with precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change or totals
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
• Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or restaurants
