Server/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable Server/Bartender to join our team. We are looking for someone willing to be flexible in filling server shifts and bartending shifts throughout the week. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a lively, casual dining environment. Server experience is required. Prior bartending experience is preferred but not required- we are willing to train the right candidate. Servers and bartenders are a crucial part of making the dining experience here positive. Duties

• Provide friendly, efficient service to guests
• Mix and serve drinks responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Responsibly handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Fullfill side work duties (cleaning, restocking, opening or closing of restaurant, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Efficiently navigate and use Toast POS system.
• Handle guest inquiries courteously, including questions about menu items or specials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service.

Skills

• Prior experience with POS systems (Toast, Aloha, Square)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate billing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.14 per hour
