Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
  • Mix and serve drinks at the bar, demonstrating knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink presentation
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
  • Assist with food preparation and handling when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering tasks and processing payments with POS systems like OpenTable

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bars
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
  • Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours
  • Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards required for safe food handling
  • Experience with food preparation, bussing, host/hostess duties, or kitchen support is a plus
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations including guest relations, serving techniques, and food industry best practices

Pay: $21.68 - $26.11 per hour
