Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking for a full-time/part-time Server to join our team at Moon's Kitchen: Korean Street Food & Dessert. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in the food industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and efficient and making drinks/desserts for the customers. On weekdays, servers should be able to work by themselves. Candidates with Korean speaking skill preferred but not required.

21 and above only as we do not possess minor work permit and need someone who can serve alcohol.

$17.13/hr + tips (about $30-40/hr)

Currently looking for someone who can work following days:

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Clover POS system.
• Prepare drink/dessert items according to established recipes and safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.
• Buss tables promptly to ensure a tidy environment for guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant and/or café setting preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with Clover POS system is a plus.
• Communication skill is required.
• Ability of speak Korean preferred in order to communicate with the kitchen.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.13 - $30.00 per hour
