Server/Cashier

Overview
Hey there! We are seeking dedicated and friendly servers to join our Peking Family!!

By joining our team, you will play an important role here, to make sure that our customers leave the restaurant happy and satisfied with the service! Invite them to try our most popular dishes and make them feel welcomed by greeting them as soon as they step foot in the door! We strive to make this place relaxed and pleasant for all customers and of course our staff. We all take turns helping in every area of the restaurant, that includes cleaning, taking orders for drive-thru, dining, pickups, online, and Door Dash. As a team, we all work together to make it easier and less stressful for everyone.

Payment:

Our pay is $7.25 per hour plus tips. Your cash/credit tips go home with you daily, we do not hold any money back, all together you’re looking between $11 to $14 per hour. Payments are made thru direct deposit every 2nd and 16th of the month.

Shifts:

· 10:30am/11am-5pm
· 5pm-9:30/10pm
· Doubles
· All day

Responsibilities include:

*Greet and say goodbye to customers.
*Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverages.
*Take accurate food and drink orders using the cash register system.
*Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality standards are met.
*Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests.
*Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
*Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and the overall dining environment.
*Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
*Assist with training new staff members as needed.
*Take care of side work to maintain our facility clean.

Qualifications

*Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
*Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
*Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
*Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
*Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables at once.
*Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
*Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed
