Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient transactions
• Prepare and serve food items following safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and food safety protocols
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and assisting with food prep when needed
• Support food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café environment to ensure timely service during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety practices
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
