Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently and accurately
• Assist with food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Support food handling procedures, including proper storage and hygiene practices, to ensure quality and safety standards are met

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, and proper serving techniques
