Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle all cash transactions with precision, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items, enhancing the guest experience while increasing sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist in food preparation and serving duties when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring every visitor leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing.
• Strong food handling knowledge with experience in food safety, sanitation, and proper food preparation techniques.
• Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or nightlife settings, including serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques such as upselling menu items to enhance revenue.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
