Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds efficiently
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and cashier stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food handling duties like bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff when needed

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and food service within quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent serving skills and attention to detail
