Server/Cashier

Overview
This is a full time role (10am - 6pm, or 4pm - 12am 5 days a week). We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. This role is essential for providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in settings such as grocery stores, quick service fast food restaurants, or cafés.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate the cash register and process payments using TOAST POS or other POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and cashier station.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Perform basic math calculations to manage cash transactions effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a grocery store, quick service fast food restaurant, or café is preferred.
• Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service is essential.
