Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process payments swiftly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions with precision
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Assist with food preparation, serving, and food safety procedures to ensure quality standards are met
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and manage guest flow efficiently

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Experience with food industry tools like Food industry POS systems or Food industry serving roles is advantageous
• Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is a bonus but not required
