Now Hiring: Cashiers and servers for the Salinas Valley Fair!

Pepe’s at the Fair is looking for eager and honest individuals to join our team as cashiers during the Salinas Valley Fair!

If you’re ready to work in a fun, fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!

No experience? No problem! We’ll train the right people.

Job Details:

• Position: Cashier (Food Concession Stand)
• Location: Pepe’s at the Fair, inside the King City Fairgrounds (near the entrance)
• Shifts: Vary based on venue and availability

(Fair hours typically run from 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM)

• Interview Date: May 12 at 3:30 PM

Find us in front of the Pepe’s stand inside the fairgrounds!

What You’ll Do:

Take customer food orders, serve drinks, and hand out food

• Handle payments (cash, card) accurately
• Keep your station clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Learn the menu and be ready to answer customer questions
• Lift up to 40 lbs when restocking

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude

• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Spanish-speaking a plus! (Multilingual skills are a bonus!)
• Comfortable using POS systems (we’ll train you!)
• Experience upselling food items is a plus
