Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with genuine hospitality, guiding them to their tables and managing wait times efficiently
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and reservations accurately
• Manage reservation platforms like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience while increasing sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, host station, and food handling zones
• Assist with food running, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy service hours
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and resolving concerns professionally

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong background in food service, restaurant experience, or hospitality roles with fine dining exposure
• Excellent communication skills for guest relations, upselling, and team collaboration
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively with time management skills during high-volume service periods
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry or nightlife venues such as nightclubs
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and transaction accuracy
