Duties

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, highlighting specials and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Assist with food handling, serving dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety
• Clear tables promptly, bus tables as needed, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and fostering positive guest relations
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during service shifts

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or hospitality roles with a focus on guest relations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming environment
• Ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic food handling techniques
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous but not required
• Excellent communication skills and basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks
