Job Title: Host / Server (Part-Time)

Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and high-energy Host to join our team. This role is the first and last impression for our guests and plays a critical part in managing the flow of the restaurant.

This position will consist of both host and server shifts based on business needs. The ideal candidate is welcoming, detail-oriented, and able to stay composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible scheduling available. Hourly + tips.

Key Responsibilities

Hosting Duties:

• Greet all guests warmly and promptly upon arrival
• Manage waitlists and reservations with accuracy and efficiency
• Control the flow of seating to support both guest experience and service pace
• Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen, and management regarding table status and timing
• Answer phones, provide accurate information, and handle takeout orders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area

Serving Duties:

• Provide attentive, efficient, and personable service to all guests from start to finish
• Guide guests through the menu, answer questions, and make recommendations confidently
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the POS system in a timely manner
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
• Monitor tables and perform quality check-ins without being intrusive
• Anticipate guest needs, refill beverages, pre-bus tables, and maintain table cleanliness throughout service
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
• Process payments accurately and follow all cash handling procedures
• Complete all opening, closing, and side work duties to standard

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience preferred (hosting or serving)
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
• Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail
• Must be 18 years or older

Availability Requirements

• Must have availability for days, evenings, and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and arms, including reaching and bending
• Ability to lift and carry items as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-interaction environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.13 per hour
