Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen operations and ensure timely service
• Support food handling procedures, including proper storage and sanitation practices, to comply with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm
