Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely preparation of orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs efficiently.
